Ann Marie (Burnside) Holmes
Peacefully at the Rosedale Retirement Centre, Brockville, on Monday March 26, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of the late Christopher Holmes. Loved sister of Mrs. Audrey Marin of Prescott. Also survived by a foster son Royal Taylor (Linda) of Huntsville, dearest friend and cousin Jan Gilligan (Richard) of RR 1 Brockville and fondly remembered by Jan's children Terri Dougall (Stephen) Thomas Anderson (Tina) and several cousins. Predeceased by her parents John and Marie Burnside and by her brother-in-law John Marin.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 12 noon until 1:15 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Chapel Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow at Roselawn Crematorium with interment, together with her husband Christopher, at St. Francis Xavier Columbarium at a later date. In remembrance, donations to the Lung Association will be gratefully acknowledged.
